Publications Available at the Museum

The following books are available to buy at the museum:

Squak Slough 1870 -1920 is a fascinating story of the Northshore area.  The book contains 270 pages full of interesting details, including 198 photographs. Authors: Amy Stickney and Lucile McDonald.

 Slough of Memories covers the Bothell-Kenmore-North Creek-Woodinville area from 1920 to 1960. It was compiled by Fred Klein and the Northshore History Boosters.

Bothell, Washington, Then and Now; 1909 – 2009 contains pictures and history, with contrasting historic photos and recent photos at the same location.

The Arcadia Publishing book Bothell, written by Margaret Turcott, is a well-illustrated history, with the publisher’s distinctive format using many historic photos; published in 2017.

Taming of the Slough, by Jim Benson, tells the story of the many years outboards raced on the twisting Sammamish, “the crookedest river in the world,” between Redmond and Kenmore.
